If you find yourself having dry mouth, dry
membranes around the nose area and also problems tearing in your eyes, you may be suffering
from Sjogren's Syndrome. I'm Isabelle Simon your personal and work place wellness consultant
and today we are going to learn some natural remedies to take care of Sjogren's Syndrome.
Sjogren's Syndrome is an auto immune system that sometimes runs in families and women
between the ages of 40 and 50 are usually the ones who are affected by it.
There are
very simple things that you can do to help if you have the problem or even to avoid a
problem. First thing first, good nutrition. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, they
are packed with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and they help boost your immune system. 2)
You want to help rotate your foods. If you always eat chicken every day, chicken is good
but you want to eat other types of proteins as well. Rotate your food, don't eat always
the same thing. That will help boost your immune system as well. Drink plenty of water.
Ideally drink half your body weight in ounces of water so if you are 200 pounds drink 100
ounces of water per day. Very important, you need to keep your stress levels very low.
A good thing to do is to just do something fun, go outside, go play with the kids, go
take a run with the dog, go out with some friends, do something fun.
Whatever is good
for you to relax, do this activity every day or some activities every day just for relaxation
and lastly but not least, get plenty of sleep. If you don't get to sleep enough your immune
system is going to shut down and if your immune system shuts down that is the open door for
all kinds of problems including Sjogren's Syndrome so that is what you want to do is
get plenty of rest. I hope those tips were helpful to you. I'm Isabelle Simon your personal
work place and wellness consultant and remember good health begins with good nutrition..
